Celebrating Bangladeshi Women’s Achievements & Bangla New Year বঙ্গনারী সম্মাননা ও বাংলা বর্ষ বরণ অনুষ্ঠান, 27th April

Pohela Boishakh is the Bengali New Year festival, celebrated on April 14th in Bangladesh and is a national holiday in Bangladesh. The festival is marked by cultural celebrations like colorful fairs, traditional music, and dances, as well as family gatherings, feasting, and businesses beginning the new year with a new account book (Halkhata).

Spring Festival & AGM, 23rd February

The Pohela Falgun, marking the beginning of spring and symbolising renewal and community togetherness. This day of celebration includes poetry, music, dance and traditional dress. This festival will help preserve seasonal traditions and provide intergenerational learning opportunities to gain knowledge on Bengali traditions/cultures.
